Memcached in Hosting
Memcached is available as an upgrade with each hosting package that we are offering and in case you would like to use it for any script-based website that you host on our cutting-edge cloud website hosting platform, you will be able to order it in a couple of easy steps through your Hepsia Control Panel. In the meantime, you’ll get the option to upgrade two different features – the instances and the memory. The first one has to do with the number of the websites that can use the Memcached distributed memory object caching system at the same time, so if you need it for several sites, you can order a handful of instances. The second one refers to the total amount of memory that the system will be permitted to use to cache info, so for multiple sites (or for one single busy site), you may want to order more memory for better results. The memory comes in increments of 16 MB and more memory can be ordered at any time. With the Memcached caching system, every script-based Internet site hosted on our servers will load lightning-fast.
Memcached in Semi-dedicated Servers
You can get the Memcached memory caching system as an upgrade with each of our semi-dedicated servers and since it works with any script-driven web application, you can use it for every Internet site that you host on our semi-dedicated servers, irrespective of what application you have used – WordPress, Joomla™ or Mambo, a custom-developed one, etc. You can add the upgrade through the corresponding section of the Hepsia Control Panel from which you manage your semi-dedicated account, and you can select two different features – the number of instances and the amount of system memory that they will use. To put it simply, these things define how many sites will use Memcached and how much memory the system will be able to use in order to cache your information. The two things are ordered independently for more freedom and one instance does not come bundled with a particular amount of system memory. You can take advantage of Memcached with any type of website and both you and the website visitors will swiftly perceive the difference in the performance.
Memcached in VPS Servers
Memcached is included by default with every VPS server offered by us if you select Hepsia as your hosting Control Panel, so you won’t need to pay any extra cash to be able to take advantage of the full capacity of this object caching system. The more powerful Virtual Private Server package you choose, the more memory Memcached will have for information caching purposes, but you will have at least several hundred MB all the time, which is much more than what you’d get with a shared hosting plan. This will allow you to use the Memcached caching system for plenty of sites, regardless of how heavy they are, which in turn goes to say that you can use a low-end package for them without overloading the VPS. The Memcached caching system is excellent for script-based web apps like Joomla™, OpenCart, WordPress or Mambo, and you can use it even with a custom app. Soon after you enable the Memcached system, it will start storing data and you will observe the improved performance of your websites.
Memcached in Dedicated Servers
Memcached is available for free with all Linux dedicated service offered by our company and the one and only condition is that the dedicated server must be ordered with the Hepsia hosting Control Panel. You can use the distributed memory caching system for any database-powered site, including those that are based on widely used software applications – for instance, a WordPress personal journal or a Joomla™-driven social networking site. Each dedicated machine comes with a different amount of memory that the Memcached caching system can employ, but the minimum you’ll get is 3 GB, which is quite enough to improve the speed of very popular websites greatly, as this very memory will be dedicated to storing the cached content. The Memcached system will begin storing information as soon as it is activated, so soon after that, you will see the enhanced performance of your websites and the decreased load. Lots of websites use the Memcached system to enhance their efficiency, among them famous ones like Reddit and Wikipedia.
